Certain carbo handles are allowed not sure of the law but I know James lavers carbo core is allowed but maybe Tom Andy or mike could explain why something to do with less than 10 per cent

I think there is a certain percentage of the handle is allowed to be carbon fibre, not sure how much but the Gray Nichols handle breached this which is why it is illegal.

The old handles sold before the ban came into place are still legal, you may also reblade one of these. The GN handle was a simple plastic tube to lower the weight, unlike carbon handles used by others they did not run it by the MCC and started making noises about performance enhancing qualities so got the whole handle law changed.
