I have the problem with the wide feet, I tend to go one size bigger, I have adidas 22 yard lites, and the aussie asics which are tight at the moment, But once i broke them in they should be fine

If cricket shoes aren't fitting you i'd recommend getting a pair of trainers that are comfortable for you then having them spiked. I've got some Asics spiked up and i wouldn't go back to wearing specialist cricket shoes.

The Reebok Reverse Sweep are a good fit for my wide feet.

I'd echo what Richard said, grab some trainers such as asics or ones you find comfortable, then send them to brian and brenda to be spiked.

The only problem with getting trainers is that there is limited protection on them.

My adidas cobalts do the job brilliantly! So good I'd wear them everywhere... but its anti-social and all that ;)

i bought a pair of the nike googlies, and they seem to have a narrow fit, which for me is good. I tried a pair of asics before that in a smaller size and that had a wider fit then the nikes.

i know people say protection is poor on trainers, but lets be honest, it still hurts when you have spikes on. and in all fairness, it happens very rarely anyway
