Review of Cricket in Colour's PadSkins
« on: April 27, 2010, 03:45:53 AM »

So like many of you here - i play both in white and coloured kits and really did not want to spend money on a quality pair of coloured pads, considering i love my BAS 20/20 ones.

I found out about these PadSkins though this forum and messaged Richard right away. we exchanged a bunch of emails and he got me sorted with a pair of black padskins.

Initial thoughts - the material looks and feels like very good quality. the skins fit effortlessly over my pads - after ordering i realized that i had two strap pads and these are made for three straps. i was able to counter that by weaving the straps through the extra hole - it worked like a charm.

I used these in a game on saturday and i didnt even remember i had these on. my main concern was the comfort - i dont really care how these things look - but in the end they dont look that bad actually. With the complete kit - they look kinda cool i think.

Service wise richard was excellent. very open communication - kept me up to date on what was happening with my order and a pleasure to deal with as well. I look forward to placing more orders for my team in the near future.

Some not so high resolution pics for you guys to see:

They look great! Its hard to figure out whether these skins are for two strap or three but they fit perfectly.

Will definitely consider buying them.

They are the 3 strap version but should work fine. Although we are looking at producing a 2 strap version for next season.
ca_gold, fantastic guy to deal with, very patient with Royal Mail and the volcano!

Sounds a shame, I hope you weren't told to stop due to a conflict with clads?
