SS Boom Training Aid
« on: May 04, 2010, 11:01:50 PM »

i' ve got some spare money in my wallet, so i was thinking of getting a ss boom training aid bat to improve my fielding.
Just wondering if anyone has actually used one of these, is it good?
Would you say its worth the £30?

If anyone has suggestions on better training aids for fielding that cost around £30-£40 can you tell me?

Thanks

I have just got a ss skyer-lite which are little bit more expensive but seems really good and performance doesnt seem any different to a skyer

used the Skyer i bought yesterday to do some fielding drills they are very good for accuracy and getting those high catches up there. Used in conjunction with a baseball glove it allows one handed hitting and catching instead of taking 2 people to catch and hit out the balls to field!

Would recommend giving one a try :)

Agreed, I used the Pink cheaper version last night in a training session, and it was amazing how much little power you need to hit the ball out to people in the deep. I think its more about technique compared to power.
