I didnt realise that M&H were now owned by Puma.
Nice little article. I have to say that i really like his workshop, looks like a perfect little place to spend you day making bats!

I seem to remember hearing that it's only the Australian based M+H business that Puma bought, not the Somerset guys. If you remember the original Puma bats liek the ones Bevan used, they had very similar cosmetics to M+H

I didnt realise that M&H were now owned by Puma.

That only applies to the Australian operation. It's been an open secret for at least 10 years now. IIRC, the first Aussie puma bats (Bevan, Mark Taylor, Gilchrist etc) had dual branding; both Puma and M&H.

Thats what i thought, as i've been into the Taunton workshop and have yet to see any sniff of Puma around. Is this why Keith Dudgeon had a supply of the M&H stickers for sale on his website, makes sense if he deals with refurbs etc.
I thought the Bevan bat was a beauty - the green and red with the Puma logo did look good.
Anyway - back to Julian, wonder if he is bringing out a new bat profile this year, perhaps a 20/20 effort from the legend?

He owns the UK business. The Australian business is /was a separate legal entity.

Yeah it was made for me a few months back. . . there is a topic on it.

It weighs 2.10 all in.

It was a lightweight cleft that i chose to get a large profile for a low weight, based on the distinction but with more wood.

will add the link to the older topic later.
