Lekka 2020 bat review
« on: May 24, 2010, 02:54:04 PM »

i got this lekka 2020 bat from sillyshilly.

i asked if he had anything in the 2'8 to 2'9 range and he said he had a bat that was supposed to go to a magazine for review but didnt make it in time.

it weighs in at 2'10 with one grip on it.
it has about 43mm edges and picks up very well for such a huge bat! in fact it picks up similarly to my 2'8 gm hero which i picked especially for its pick-up.

the overall finish is very good although there are a couple of creases in the stickers but that doesnt detract from the imposing look.

im very grateful to sillyshilly for his excellent customer service and for getting me this bat and am very pleased with it!
would reccomend to anyone

thanks

ill be honest i dont know what grade it is. sillyshilly will probably be answer that. it isnt the best cosmetically so im guessing grade2?

the face is 4 inches across where as my gm hero is 4 and 1/3 and the handle/blade is 2 inches longer/shorter. it does feel slightly diferent to pick up but not in a bad way at all. ill update this as soon as iv used it in vengence ;)

Umz - classified as grade 3 willow due to the pin knot in the face.

just a quick update on perfromance...

ITS GOES LIKE A ******

the middle goes from the bottom of the stickers to an inch and a half from the toe, i can thoroughly recommend this bat to anyone. despite being an avid gym user im not the strongest but this bat doesnt need a big person wielding it. yes short balls are slightly harder to get to but unless your playing very good quality cricket it wont any difference.
