Advice on Harrow Bats

Hi guys,
Buying a bat in harrow and was wondering which bats were best,
Have been in talk with asad bhai and am looking at the bradbury and salix but not sure what to go for?
Any advice or info (maybe even other bats) thanked

I had a gun of a Bradbury harrow when I was younger, still have it somewhere. Was lovely, has around 25 close grains and I paid £120 for it. However, now, I would go for a Salix. Also look at the GM Icon. I have seen some very nice Harrow 808 icons knocking around at the club

asads has like 25 close grains too! the salix has quite a few but more spaced, i was edging on bradbury though, why the salix?

I have seen quite a few salixs recently, albeit SH. They look really good and are really well made. I would come away from the Bradbury as I feel their prices have increased whilst quality has dropped. Also, you said the Salix's grains are spaced out, whilst the bradbury is close grained. My bradbury was closed grained and pinged for a season before dying.

As you are getting a harrow, look at durability. You want a bat that will last you up into a Senior size (not sure how close you are to that). You don't want to be spending money on Harrows, more saving up for a SH when needed.

hmm true i will see what asad says, the price is the same i think from the last time i checked and im worried about the dying part definately but i dont know why but the bradbury just looks amazing to me!

That bradbury certainly looks pretty tasty! End of the day its up to you, the bradbury also has nicer stickers!

yeh! it does have many many grains! its not the one in the main pictures though, but overall i think the salix will last me longer but it is abit more expensive

ive emailed dan at chase but the redback costs the same amount at mens and maybe abit too expensive?

Harrow's tend to be a half way house, never have the same care put into them as full size but have a hefty price tag, I'd advise looking at a good quality blank, will probably play as well but save you money.
