Fair play somerset, but hampshire literally thrown it away. some awesome fielding with run outs and a great last catch!

What an exceptional game of cricket, whilst id much rather watch two teams score 200+ that was a fantastic example of never giving up from somerset!

not sure about that finisher but he has the potential to do well in the one day format, the real test will be can he reproduce in the tests...

Just a note on Durston, have seen him bat numerous times at Taunton and was always impressed. My dad used to play against him when he was around 14/15, he said he was a good batsmen then aswell.

Was really happy to see Durston get runs tonight, good for the Unicorns too after the stick the ECB got intitially. Hopefully a few more of them can impress and get offered contracts, even if they are short term. I'll be keeping an eye on my mate Chris Murtagh who I used to play with...

well, i watched the highlights of the somerset game (with 14 needed last night I turned off) and I dont know how we won that game, but 2 cracking runouts and once again some great fielding, was great to see that never say never in somerset again
