Dukes Bats

I know they are more renowned for balls but does anyone know who Duke's bats are made by.

I picked one up in a shop today. It felt good and had a nice grain structure. Seemed very good VFM.

I think they are made by SS. I have had 2 dukes bats (pro centrury and ton) and they have both been excellent for me

I had a pro century and it was an absolute monster! It had a jumbo profile and I've never hit the ball so hard - shame it broke after 1 season and 900 runs :-(

Been down to the Woodford showroom a couple of times and got talking to the guys there.I think Mike Stannard (the guy who use to do Gooch's bats and alot of the essex guys?) makes them. Got a feeling Morrant and Dukes bat brands are both owned by Morrant and the bats sourced from the same bat maker.

It was indeed at the Morrant showroom.

It said 'made from English willow' rather than 'made in England' on it. But did not have a plastic toe piece on it, as I'm told most Asian bats do.

I'd be very surprised if Morrant bats are still made in England.

Which doesn't really answer the question.

"All our bats are made under licence in India" does though.
