It's great used mine today. Not only can you do seam and swing, you are able to do slower balls, leg spin and off spin! It's great. Worth getting one :)

Did anyone see it mentioned in this months AOC? There's a question about it in the interview with Strauss in the bottom left corner of pg41!

Used mine for the first time in the nets on the weekend and i was impressed and so were the batsmen. Some even thought it was better than a bowling machine because you can see the arm coming over. Havnt faced it yet myself dont trust anyone else to use it lol.

BOWL kind of defeats the object a little but if you use a bowlers action off a pace or two really comes out with some zip plus moves around in the air

Coach has got his hands on one, he bought it too nets today. and i had a quick Arm/throw/chuck hahah!

definitely worth a purchase i would say, difficult to get used to at first (nearly hurt two people Beamers followed by a sorry) and also a few going down the sides of the nets. but this was only on the first few throws. but after a while its really easy to use and pick up straight away.

im still to face the Side-arm but the lads who i was throwing too found it quite realistic, and positive thoughts were expressed after the session was finished.

like i have said I haven't faced the thing yet, but i was a volunteer to try its high/long catching capabilities. and OMG this thing can throw a high and long ball. catches were easily carrying over the full length of the square and at a decent height. definitely would help in that area.

overall a great product, which over the time and given a chance could be absolutely amazing in my opinion. one slight problem is the variations, i tried bowling the slower ball option and the leg spin option both of which didnt work too well. leg spin was bowled too high. but i could see it turning if it would have pitched. and the slower ball only managed to pitch about 5 yards infront of me :/ but im sure they would come easily enough after time.

It's great.
chip :)

p.s roco any tips on the "variations" could you post here or PM me id like to develop my side-arming haha :)

like i said try to bowl off a step or two without a jump the extra pace is fun

and just ajudst the release point for in and out swing plus much harder but a flick of the wrist gives it a bit of spin/cut
