I have done the same! ordered a pro. Looks like good fun and a very useful training aid, I can really see the benefits of having one. There is nothing more frustrating when you are batting in the nets against some wayward bowling! It seems once you have mastered the pro you can really test any batsmen out.

what benefits do you reckon? more pace and accuracy, and swing? In the video he gets it to hoop quite nicely....

I think the benefits are pace and accuracy therefore possibly providing better practice. When I bat in nets (not very often) I tend to bat for about 20mins max due to numbers. In the 20mins I spend batting I may face some quality accurate bowling but also may get a lot of part time wayward stuff. So with the new aid I may be able to benefit from a more intense accurate nets session. For £25 worth a punt I think?

Has anyone had a go on one of these yet? Our overseas aussie tells me that ''back home maaite coaches use lacrosse sticks, pretty sick to be honest with you maaite!'' sounds tricky but could get some good wheels me thinks!!
