Well you would need it longer than a few games the way you bat bud, reckon you would take a season to knock that in.

I would pay for postage the bat and can give it to my 8 month old son to knock in for you it you want, he seems pretty adept with a (plastic) mallet, so I am sure would do a great job.

On the down side, he has very sharp teeth and has chewed through the grip on his bat (all 8 month olds should have a bat) and has started on the handle so you may need a new grip if you ever got it back... not to mention the damage if he ever got hold of the blade.

It is a good job he hasn't started crawling into the garage yet to eat my cricket equipment (yet)

Great offers fellas....all very tempting and tough to choose between them!  :-[
One of my dogs licked the bat this morning and started humping the sofa. I kicked the dog out and he was last spotted on a pedalo heading up the river Thames!...so there's obviously some magic potion in Freddies bat!

i was really bored so i decided to take the piss a little......probably makes me as bad as him at the end of the day. Anyway - should anyone want to save time, go out to your backyard, pick up a stone, hit it against your bat and hey presto - bat is knocked in!!!
You can use hard objects to knock a bat in (coopers hammer or lignum vitae) but these have to be used very carefully otherwise you could completely mess up a bat, i just didnt want forum members to take up his idea and start smashing rocks against bats!!!
