Thought i'd stick up a review of my new bat I got yesterday and what a bat it is! Needed something new as my salix has completely broken at the toe and is beyond repair. Tried to contact Mike a while ago regarding a bat but with not much luck. But he has definately made up for it with the bat.
Shape is quite different to my old bat and is very big for the weight in my eyes. Looks like a GT sort of shape as there is no concaving and a slight bow to it. Yet to prepare it or even touch it as i'm away for a bit but i'm sure it will be pretty special.
The bat is 2lb 10 with a good pick up, feels good in the hands anyway. Handle is slight oval and it has a great finish to it. Didnt ask for 15 grains but Mike showed me this one and I couldn't resist. About 1/3 heartwood with some graping near the toe and shoulder. I'm not bothered at all as performance is all i'm after
Love the stickers too, some of the best around in my eyes so a great all round bat!
Service was very good apart from the late communication but the bat and delivery time more than makes up for this. Dont bother asking what price as i'm not going to say.
