The gloves Alec Stewart is using these pics actually have a hard plastic shell over the bottom two fingers of the bottom hand. This was an accessory sold separately, and basically taped to the glove.

I know -but we were looking for early examples of extra protection on gloves - actually the DF ones on Goochie from around 1980 were the earliest pics I could find on cricinfo!

I might be able to get a original set of SP stickers for you and a bat made to shape by the original maker, got some nice Scoops but not for sharing and also picked up a set of Sondico gloves.

I managed to buy a brand new scoop 3 or 4 years ago, when they were being sold through the Lords shop

I looked at some at Robertsbridge last year, they sold them all to Sports World..... so had a new one made by a friend. Will also have a new Classic to reveal in a month, will turn a few heads!!!
