Blue Room Bats
« on: June 29, 2010, 12:43:47 PM »

This season I have been using one of the newly designed Blue Room bats made by Rob Pack.

Just to say this is by far and away the best bat I've ever had and service he provides couldn't not be beaten!

Has anybody else got/used a Blue Room what are their thoughts on them?

Will add some pics tonight.

Yep - have a blue room swell.
Great pick-up and very nice grains but haven't used it yet.

This will for sure be my next bat.. Rob's customer service is amazing, I was going to get one from him this year but his stickers didn't get in on time and I couldn't wait so next year it will be..

Has to be said, the branding of these bats is terrible.

I like the stickers but it's all personal taste and can see why some people don't like them.

However Rob makes bats for Puma's I'm sure he would put some off their stickers on or buy some of ebay.
At the end of the day performance of the bat is most important stickers can be changed.

I've got a New Wave i like the more traditional profile more wood behind the spine instead of chunky edges.

Will put photos up later

Unstickered is always the best look, anyway.

Someone at our club is friends with Rob and subsequently there are about five or six of these at our club.
Most of them are good looking bats and people are pleased with them.
I particularly like the look of a couple of them.
One of our lads, who has played for thirty odd years claims it is one of the best bats he has ever had and it single handedly reignited his love for batting. He is quite wordy this lad, but obviously a good recommendation.
They appear to be on the softer side some perform well straight away.

Stickers are (No Swearing Please) though, in my opinion.

One of our lads got a Kieswetter (?) reject as he had to wait for some time.
I haven't played with it , but... suffice to say it looks good.
Good price for generally good bats in my opinion.

seen stickers that are far worse than them....60mm edges on a bat is some effort!

I have one, and I have to say it is not far behind my lavers. Not used in a game yet but good ping in the nets
