Ideal Bat

Okay, I've just received a fair bit of money
... and as always a cricket bat was the first thing I looked for. I like the idea of a mongoose cor3 and i was wondering about what size and weight to get, I'm 5'6 and weigh about 9 1/2 stone but i grow quickly and i wasn't sure to make the step up to a short handle because i don't want a bat that is to small halfway through the season.
Any help?

I think the blade length is the same but the handle is around 1 inch shorter?
