It might be helpful if you give a bit more detail about what you like, in terms of colours or brands, plus what your budget? this will also have an impact.

Do you like 2 or 3 straps, do you like the Asian brands - SS/BAS or do you like Kook/GM/GN etc or do you want a some from a smaller brand, like SAF/Redback or Hell4Leather...

Do you like matching kit from the same brand or a mix and match... bit more info will help you get much better kit!

You could even say what you like/don't like about your current softs... sorry if I sound a bit like a bored teacher!!

no i didnt the pc fell on its (No Swearing Please) half way through lol

not looking for a specific colour or brand.
just wanting top end gear at a reasonable price. Brings a tear to my eye looking online at softs and then seeing £100 price tags on a pair of pads etc.

spec: RH
only ever used three strap pads
knee locater preferred as got used to my current set
      bridge protection
      lightweight modern design
colour and brand not imp, just need help narrowing it down as there is so much choice and thought you guys would know whats worth spending your own money on.
budget: pads £40 - £65
         gloves £25 - £45

wanting a matching set if possible with budget.
latest softs were absolute class but they havenmt lasted.
got them from a company called Phoenix who unfortunately didnt get through the rough times.
pads have knee locater, bridge protection, soft padded straps, big padding and are incredibly light for the size.

Sorry for the above grumpy posting!!
Fair enough - I use the Kook Ice Sub zero/850's which meet all your requirements, which I think are really good. I am looking for a new set and Talisman has been able to source me a reasonably priced new set for next year.

I also think the Redback softs also look really good and the gloves have pittards palms, which is a bonus. see http://www.redbackcricket.com/pads.html

I think your next stop could be the UZI sports website to have a look at what he has as he put pics up of the actual softs and you can go from there - the SS stuff he has looks really good in my view.

I have never used the Newbury stuff personally, but, from what I have seen it does look good.
