Millichamp and Hall Distinction
« on: August 09, 2010, 02:20:06 PM »

Went for a visit to the M+H shop last week and saw an absolute brute of a bat, a Distinction weighing around 3lb 4-6, not 100% sure. Grains looked top notch, lovely profile and you could literally put a mug of tea on the edges!
The only thing was the price, £300. But just been on the website and seen that they have a 3lb special for £220, very tempted!

Anyone else been to the shop recently and seen the same bat? its literally right in front of you when you walk through the door, and twice the size of all the other bats......

It did weigh 2.15 with 44mm edges that are still 35mm at the toe, large oval handle and made from my own cleft, now has an extra double thickness grip and weighs 3.1 with anti scuff sheet.

How do you find it compared to a normal bat

I'd like to get a new one and retire this to the garage, must get round to it..... until then it homes the bats for photo's.

Looks very nice. Guessed it was a pros because it's the same size as a normal bat :)
