Pretty sure its used with tennis rackets mate, local sports shop might have it if they have a decent tennis range, if not there is lots on ebay or sports websites.

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=golf+lead+tape

wrap insulation tape or cloth tape over the top of the lead tape to protect it.
Adding weight to the handle will have an effect on the timing of the bat too so make sure you try different amounts, and it wont help any cross bat shots... I would take the toe guard off if you can.

Agree with Buzz, Shoe Goo much better than a toe guard....and lighter!

Each time i put it on the scales in a different position it weighs a different amount, ranging from 2lb 10.5 to 2lb 15. whats the best position to place the bat on the scales to get an accurate weight.

alridd, pics will be up in an hour or so after i have done some painting!

Take it down the local post office and use their scales!

just make sure the bat does not come into contact with anything but the scales, if it touches another surface then it is likely the weight will fluctuate.
