Best thigh Pads
« on: August 12, 2010, 02:41:03 PM »

I have sadly missplaced my P2 strippers!! This has really annoyed me as they were super comfy and gave a good level of protection. I was all set to just order another pair as I was happy with them, but thought it would be wise to ask around to see what people thought of other brands. Also has anyone tried the P1 strippers I play a fairly high level cricket but I do't feel I need to extra proctection. However again if people have tried them and found them much better than the P2's now is the time to shout up!!

Thanks Rich

P1's are good but not to everyones taste, however if you have previously used Aeros then you would get on fine with them. However the custom thigh pads are considered the best protection available Remfry are the best (procricket on here will back me on this!) However there are others such as ACE custom thigh pads which the likes of Vaughan and KP have used! I have a set of the ACE thigh pads here depending on your height they may be of use to you!

remfry and ace are top thigh pads without doubt but very costly indeed...

p1 are good but i find them bulky but hear the new version is much better..

looked around see some good stuff everywere to be honest the hawk ones used to be buchannans are good too...

another i have looked at are h4l they look good to..

ask tom if he still has his ace he might sell it but it is quite small mate....

asad has a few bas going dirt cheap and i have tried them they offer good protection and only £10 pound

if your still growing i would avoid custom made till your fully grown mate

I tried P1's and found them too bulky, but get along with my P2's fine.

try the Dukes:-

I've been using them for 2 months now and have to say they are very comfortable and offer plenty of protection.
