Agree with J-Riss - the V500 looks the best of the three, although all three have very sub-continent looks about them!

Aaaaaaaah a blue V500, brings back memores of Alec Stewart twisting his bat between deliveries.

Despite the bat designs which are quite nice am I right in thinking Slazenger is sliding off the map?

Why can't they simply copy what they do in Aus? I like the range down there. The bat shapes are nice, and the stickers have been improved but the softs are vile, I would prefer any company over Slaz for softs.

I think that they're potentially having a bit of a renaissance. They aren't helped by the driftwood sold in Sports Direct, but I feel that their softs offer a quality and understated alternative to Puma, without being minimalist like GM and Newbery. A good few of the up and coming Yorkies use their gear and they could be part of the England set-up soon (Rashid, Bresnan, Bairstow).

Just a big humpy V12 classic and their range would be complete ... :)

Slazenger always seem to be on sale in proper cricket shops. Usually the last bits of the gear from seasons previous that they cant shift (even on sale)

my first bat was a Slazenger V100 armourtec, so will always have fond memories of Slaz although doubt id ever get another one due to todays offerings
