I actually think the quality of the product is as good as anything else, but the market position seems to be getting smaller and the constant unveiling of each years range as the best bat design ever before being completely binned for another just sends out the message that they couldn't give a fig about the brand. Everything in the range lasts for 12 months only and as soon as the season is started the retailers need to get rid of it as it will soon become lasts years models.

I've just seen my local shop has Piri Piri bats in for 2011, any idea who makes them? They stand out in a line up! but I'm still on the fence.

Piri Piri's ive seen look great, im just a little unsure on the branding. If they threw in a free nandos voucher i might go for one ;)

i tried a pair of the top gloves on last season and they were very snug, i dont think they stand out in any way the traditionalist will go for newbs etc and someone wanting modern will go for Puma...... Slaz are stuck in the middle somewhere

they have gone with the orange as Mike Hussey is using the new orange kook range and is also sponsored by Nike

personally I think they are grim and they need to be really improved.

I am trying to organise a lunch with a mate who works at Nike to discuss them. Funnily enough he is evading me!!

Agreed, can't quite see them properly if you know what I mean. Sometimes photos make colours look completely different. Asics and Adidas were still by far the most popular choices in my area, I hope the price will come down.
