Buttler is ahead of Kieswetter at the same age.

Don't know much about this Buttler at all but his strike rate seems phenomenal - is he English?

According to Darren Gough's twitter update, KP chose to play for Surrey and not go to the CL - http://twitter.com/DGoughie/status/22615231788

How accurate that is i dont know, but i believe the two of them are pretty close. DG was KP's best man i remember rightly

yes english, educated at kings college, taunton.  leading schools player in terms of batting average for a couple of seasons.  most sucessful captain Kings college have ever had i think.  when i played him he was phenomenal behind the stumps and he hit 160 odd of 50 balls against us.

Pietersen needed to be dropped, by his own admission he is shot mentally, get away from the England set up and go a demolish some poor county attack....

As for Buttler, I've only seen him on TV but everytime Somerset are on I want to seem him bat, really like the way he goes about things, the lad clearly has plenty of talent.  Let's hope he is given time to establish himself at Somerset and maybe get a go behind the sticks....

KP is defo playing tomorrow for Surrey.

Think it will do him good in the long run. To be fair to Andy Flower he's done a lot of things right for England and this is one where we have to trust his judgement in giving KP time away from the international scene. I personally would have liked to have seen KP play in the 20/20 then play for Surrey.

On a side note why didn't Middlesex snap him up, and on side side note, what has Owais Shah done to be treated so badly by everyone? ie England and now Middlesex.

I've got £2 on Pietersen top scoring for Surrey tomorrow! Is the sort of thing he would do on his debut, hit a hundred or something.....

Also got a couple of quid on Shakib-Al-Hasan top scoring for Worcester, watch this space....
