Its the first time that i have seen a batsman uninjured or cut after getting hit in the grill..ponting,strauss,pollard,flynn etc.
Well done ayrtek, that shows how important helmets are in this game. You should see sales increasing now

Yeah nice when the design features pay off and are proven to work....4 point chin strap stopped it pivoting, side flares and rib stopped the helmet flexing upon pact and pushing the grill back towards the face!

Hopefully people will be less sceptical now of the shape and technology as it's been proven to work as shown :)

Tom, it's officially your fault as to why Somerset lost the T20 cup.
I hope you sign them up for this year!

Well I was down at M&H on Thursday hoping they will stock the helmets next season so people can go there and try them on etc but will wait to see if they get back to me. Will be emailing out the other county sides shortly in advance of next season to see if they are interested in using the helmets as well :)

Ayrtek give Somerset priority!
Or at the very least, give Pollard one for free!

watching the vid where ponting gets hit in his elmet by harmison.

then watching the vid of your helmet same sort of impact really shows how strong these things are. the balls hit him in the grill and peak and its intact 100% the main thing u see on helmets being hit as well is they end up being pushed up toward the top of the head!

10/10 tom cant wait to get mine

You'd be surprised. Some grilles the pros wear probably aren't titanium on the basis that it doesn't happen very often. You can tell between Albion steel and Albion Ti.

You want to quote bumble off the clip. "That new style probably saved him there, not sure the older ones would have done the job"...
