Lara or Tendulkar

Who do people think is the better player? Personally i think it's Tendulkar as some of his shots are just unbelievable and Lara i thought was a bit suspect under pressure.  Both had the weight of their respective countries on their backs.

Sachin all the way, he's always given more than 100% to the game and country. Great cricketing mind, very patient (unlike Lara), amazing array of shots, good on all types of wickets and a handy bowler.

Sachin, that back foot punch, the defence that goes for four, that hook, that cover drive, that waltz for six, that leg glance, the paddle sweep, the inside out shot, amazing his technique is just perfect. His strokeplay is beautiful to watch.  ;D

The anticipation of him emerging from the pavilion, and his walk from the boundary to the centre, is almost surreal. The sound of a passionate Indian crowd all chanting "Sachin, Sachin" as they wait in anticipation, followed by the enormous roar when he emerges onto the field, is electrifying.
