My Brothers Voodoo
« on: September 06, 2010, 10:34:04 AM »

Got this bat sorted for my brother as he was after a new light bat....... and liked the look of the pics i showed him, he's not as fussy as i am with bats so it wasnt hard to persuade him this would be what he was after, and that of course i wouldnt mind having a go of it myself ;)

After emailing Charlie my requirements we agreed on a dead weight of 2lb 5.5 oz, and with stickers and grip applied i have just weighed it as 2.8. Picks up lovely

so heres my bro's new bat.....

ENJOY

Those labels just look so lush!!!
And for a fully loaded weight of 2'8, it looks generous profile!
And if I know Black Cat bats, then this should play beautifully!
Has he started knocking it in yet? How does it feel?

Everything is in the detailing!!
A lot of thought has gone into the bat, the stickers, and the whole concept! Good work Charlie!

The stickers are different class, The silver is raised giving a 3d effect

There are just so many nice bats around atm!!

I limiting myself to one winter purchase and I have narrowed it down to either,

M&H Distinction
Black Cat Voodoo
Blue Room New Wave (already have one and its by far the best bat i've ever had or seen)
or
Redback

M&H was winning as I didn't really want 2 of the same bat, but after seeing those pic's it's becoming a tough choice!!

One thing the top sticker should say Type A rather than grade A... or has that not come in yet?
