MB Malik Bubber Sher Gloves
« on: September 09, 2010, 04:18:15 AM »

As I like having sets I also bought gloves. The gloves are simply awesome! Even though palm is of fake pittard it feels very nice and is very soft. Protection wise they are obviously test quality. Now I am really rating MB and their products very high. Comparing these glove to other Pakistani brands or Indian or even Asian they seem to be a bit better or a good as them. I would hesitate by saying that these gloves might be best Pakistani brand gloves. I have wore all Leading Pakistani brands top level gloves (AM, AS, CA, Ihsan, Boom Boom and now MB) and I fond them to be best ones after CA and Ihsan. Rest are good but these three are on top.

Again feel free to ask any question you have got

Enjoy the pictures!

Those gloves are by a mile the best Pakistani ones I've seen, I have a prototype pair here from last year that were for Afridi before he joined Boom Boom and they are superb.

I was in Pakistan at MB's factory when these were made and thought at that time that they are the best gloves available after seeing all the other gloves available from other brands in Pakistan.
CA will soon be  releasing their pittard gloves, lets see How they weigh up against MB gloves.
MB gloves will be in stock soon

Regards

Are they Pittard's or just a copy of the pattern?

you will soon find out after wearing them and seeing if your hand is covered in black dye when you have sweated in the ma bit! I would hazzard a guess at a copy of the pattern personally but maybe proven wrong.

its a type of leather thats made over here in yeovil....if your gloves have it there will be a tag on them saying official pittards leather. Its a softer but more hard wearing version of leather thats used in stead of calf skin.

Hi Golders - the easiest thing to explain would be for you to surf around on this website: http://www.pittardsleather.com/

That will explain it better than I can!
Usually if your glove has a pittard leather palm it will have a logo on it saying so - the top of the range Kook's have them as to the GM original LE and the Redback gloves, I am sure others do too.
Edit: Tom do the Ayrtek gloves have them too?

Buzz...we have a pittards style palm as its not a cheap material to add to the gloves hence why the kooks, GM's etc all fetch a price tag of £50+

Its a softer feeling leather than the calf skin version but something Im looking at including with the gloves when the ACIS is inserted back into them for the ultimate in protection and comfort model...with a price to match!!!

Tom - good luck with that - I suspect you will be squeezing your margins again!

I was talking to Malik today and did mention him about Pittard palms in his gloves. In response he told me he does have genuine pittard lying around but he had forgotten to add that to my gloves. However, he said he will pass me a pair soon.
