Smaller village clubs tend to be far more accomodating for booking pitches as they have far fewer games on and are more grateful for the money!

give my father an email - ukasaunders@gmail.com - he's a groundsman at two clubs in the bucks area and might be able to find something for you.

actually - just remembered Boyne Hill. they have a fantastic third team pitch - regularly 250+ deck, use to cost us £70 to hire. Boyne Hill are based in Maidenhead.

Burnham, Slough, Beaconsfield all have 2nd pitches as well. Windsor has about 4 pitches!

Have you tried Dragons Den?

I like what you're offering, and I think you're a great guy, but....

I'm out!

to be honest, I could name nearly every club in a 10 mile radius of slough if it helps. I did play my cricket in the thames valley for 20 years :-)

Toward the end of the season it was quite difficult to get a pitch. We tried almost every club near Slough: Datchet, Stoke Green, Burnham, Slough, Gerrards Cross, Farnham Royal, Windsor, Hayes, Boyne Hill, Maidenhead and Bray, Beaconsfield, etc . Most clubs either had fixtures or were not hiring their pitches anymore.
