its because the gear is top notch and lets face it.. it looks class!
i was stuck until i looked at the equipment on a whole. was tempted by vantage as well.
When Toms absolutely minted, smoking his cubans on a yacht in bora bora he will just have to remember all the lads that threw there hard earned at him before Ayrtek conquered the world of cricket!  ;)

thats not to say i'll be tempted when i go to pick my gear up though.

Same here. I'm getting new pads/gloves and haven't shifted my old ones but oh well; it'll be handy as I play 3/4 games a week

Bats - A plain stickered up as a puma iridium of Talisman, Puma Iridium 6000, Bradbury s500, Ayrtek Elite, McClean Sports Hercules.

Pads/Thigh Pad - Bradbury Players
Gloves - Bradbury Players
Helmet - Ayrtek ACIS Custom with Ti Grill (being made as i write this)
Spikes - Asics.
Bradbury Trousers and Club Shirt made by County

Some of my stuff is from last year as I did not play much in 2010

Anyways, here is my kit for 2011

Bats;
- CA 12000 Plus
- Newbery Krakatoa Players
- Custom Made MB Malik Bubber Sher Limited Edition
- Gray Nicolls Powerbow 3* and Plain Bat are for rainy and practice

Pads;
- GM Original Limited Edition
- MB Malik Bubber Sher

Gloves;
- SS Milliniuem Pro
- MB Malik Bubber Sher
- Ihsan Inferno 950
- GM Original Limited Edition
- Newbery Test

Thigh Pads:

- MB Malik
- Aero P1 V6 Stripper
- Adidas and MB Malik elbow guard

Helmet;
- Yonker (but I am trying to sell this so I can make room for a 2011 Masuri)

Spikes;
- None, although I am looking around for a good deal.
