Ha ha Colesey! You were right. I'm bored of the ST stickers, and they are coming off today. I shall replace them with some stickers that I have made myself - however, not sure on the rules on showing a pic. what's the score on showing pics of a bat with stickers on by a company that are not involved in cricket - ie  Anusol or Canesten? (little tip for your shop there Johan!)

I think they're fine too..Its only at Pro level you have to worry, though I know you must keep that in mind as you are banging on the proverbial door ;)

Bat: Blue Room New Wave (Popping down to Rob Pack in the new year)

Gloves: GM: 909 D30

Pads: GM: 909 D30

Helmet: No Idea! Would like an Ayrtek, but they are expensive- hopefully our club pro will bring a few over this coming season!

Bag: GN Quantum Wheelie or Pro Performance Duffle.

Ha ha yeah, he had some lovely kit last year- My mate bought a Kahuna Ricky Ponting for £150 off him! :O


He is the only person I know who could get away with scoring a hundred, then just walking off to let other people have a bat... :) Legend!

Yep he's a top player and a very nice guy from what I have been told. Do you play 1's at Wardens? Few lads I know play for them and I have been asked to go net there come Jan...

1. My DIY bat which has been made smaller since last season and had bulldog Stickers applied. LB 2lb 14oz
2. Salix Vantage 2lb 9oz SH
3. GN Longbow 2lb 6oz Sh
4. Newbery Navarone LH/LB 2lb 10.5oz

Nah, I'm not quite that good- I was injured a fair bit last season (my first at Wardens), and mainly played 3rds, 4ths, and 2/3 seconds matches, as well as Sunday 1sts.. This year I should break into the seconds properly though, with any luck!
The club itself is really friendly, so it won't be difficult to settle in etc. The bar is almost always open, so just pop in and say hello!
They have a great captain, Scott Stenning- never forgot the game where he middled one over the top, straight through an expensive BMW (IIRC) rear windscreen... Needless to say, we didn't get our ball back :(

I've not decided if I'll go to the nets yet or not, might just go along for the fun of it tho!

I know your 4ths skipper well, he's a good cricketer and should be playing 3s at least
