In the Kent Regional Cricket League....Championship East for Yalding......Do you play in Kent?? I'm not 100% sure of the standard....in the UK you guys have so many leagues and stuff it does my head in!! Guess I will find out soon enough :-)

Hi Jenko,

I'll be seeing you this year in that league.  What do you do??  and what terms have Yalding brought you over on???

Here's the best of what's in my holdall for the new season. The Icon has just had a refurb and looks like new. This is my first choice, weighs in at 2'7. The blank blade I'm pretty sure is an SS Platinum LE I bought from Lukeys Sports. Great lightweight bat with loads of wood behind the middle and thick edges. The Bradbury is a tad heavy for my liking at 2'12. Goes like a bullet off it though!

Ooooh - you've got the pads I really wanted! Couldn't find them anywhere at a decent price though.

It's a shame they discontinued them! Great lightweight and flexible pad, I got them in the sale at end of 2009 for about £40. Think the d30 range replaced them but don't know too much what the difference is apart from orange not yellow trim!

The gloves offer great comfort and i still think they are the best looking glove on the market. I also went for them to match the bat and pads! I think they're a bit over priced though for a basic sausage glove with pittards when you can get the SS ones for less than half the price! I think the Salix Pod ltd edit red or black gloves are what I'll be going for next.

I tried those gloves on today in owzat and first off they didnt feel that comfortable as they were very stiff, but I guess theyll get better the more you use them. I also think they're very nice looking gloves, non-bulky and once they're worn in in reckon they'll be very comfortable
