Let me know how my old Allegiance goes through the summer. It hadn't really loosened up before I sold it.

It still needed knocking in properly when I got hold of it! Seam marks still coming up on it. Have knocked it in for another 2 hours ish so far, and it is coming along nicely. Nothing compared to my LE. Now that does ping amazingly.

I did it for a couple hours before I sold it and use it in a few nets and a couple of matches

Oh right. Definitely hadn't been knocked in enough when I got hold of it. As I said, if the seam is showing on the face of the bat when playing then it still needs a bit more time preparing.

I probably tried to rush it a bit to use it on tour at the end of the season

Good. When I first got them they seemed quite stiff. But after a couple of sessions and literally hitting them with my mallet they are very supple. I like the look of them, and they are also quite plain. I will see how they look halfway through the season though with them being white. If I wear them with padded inners then they are too tight to use, but with normal inners they are fine. Although I do have quite big hands so that could just be down to me.

Another possibility could be these:

Although I prefer a longer cuff.

Would you say every gloves are different then? Some need padding some don't etc etc....?

Last year I had the Slazenger ones with padded inners and they were fine. Although my inners were fairly old and so worn in. It doesn't bother me what sort of inners I wear as long as it feels comfortable to keep.

Just one pair of pads and gloves, Dave ? :O That is very unusual thing from you to be honest.
