I ordered my cricket bat about a month ago and have done all the preparations that needed to be done (knocking in, oiling, facing, etc.). I've been playing with it in the nets this last week only today realising there's a crack in the toe of my bat. "

I'm unsure what sort of glue to use, whether that is PVA or superglue or something else I haven't heard of. Should I also oil it? It does look a bit dry but I might put some shoe goo on instead. I've also heard that some people mix sand dust with glue.
I won't be using it till it's fixed of course.
What are your thoughts guys?
