Thruxton SPS - Review
« on: October 04, 2010, 04:01:51 AM »

As the season has finally drawn to a close - i thought i'd take some time and put a review of this Thruxton SPS i got from uzi sports a few months ago.

The service, as usual, from Asad was fantastic. Sent plenty of pics, threw in some grips, scruff sheets, shipped immediately etc. Was a pleasure dealing with.

Details:
Weight - 2.85
Grains - Enough for me
Pickup - Feels very balanced. I prefer this profile/pick up more then a GT or Krakatoa.
Performance - Every one always rants and raves about the middle & the quality of Newbery, so not much has to be said. I just love the fact that mere pushes are getting me alot more runs then they used to.

Enjoy the pics.

i've got a Krakatoa coming soon...

it was a choice between a Krakatoa and a Thruxton,
looks like i made the wrong choice! :(
Looks very meaty for a 2.8-9

LOL I'll take them back if you wish.

When I was buying Krakatoa the choice was between Thruxton and Krakatoa as well but I went for Krakatoa. I wouldn't say it's a really bad choice and I am regretting. In fact, I am happy with it :). I prefer light pickup bat which Thruxton seems to be whereas Krakatoa is slightly bottom heavy. Apart from that I love Krakatoa.

I am sure you won't be disappointed with your choice. Don't worry man you'll like it for sure!

By the way, is it SPS (from Mike)?
