I'm pretty sure the Puma Pulses won't be featuring high up in this list of very light pads as they are around 680g per pad. Having said that, I'd happily kick a Steven Finn 93mph ball away with them as I'm certain you wouldn't feel it. Might need a towel stuffed down the back of the Morrant Int. Ultralites for the same effect!

Having said that, they feel significantly lighter than the GM 909 D3O pads I have, which are 50% heavier.

Yes, I am aware this is an old thread...

Any changes here?

The new Gray Nics Maverick and Powerbow pads look seriously light for a traditionally styled pad.
Would be nice to have a comparison of some of the boutique pad's weights on here if trying to make a decision.

I am due to new pads, so far I feel like Morrant makes the best one with snug fit..but I am open to suggestions.  Also, any website that sells morrant for less than $200?

Thanks in advance!

Would be interesting to know the weight of these seeing as here near as much a copy of the aswani zero g (which is probably a copy of something else)

This puma looks like the Indian version of Morrant pad, which I current have but they are little stiff and bulky.

I want light pads put nobody seems to mention THIN pads! This seems more important to me, nobody's not strong enough to run with 0.6kg on each shin, though lighter is nicer, for feeling, I think having less volume is more important.

The aero ones look perfect but I've never spotten anywhere actually selling them!

Try Sports Direct, they have some paper thin Slazenger ones in almost every store, they're really cheap and there's no way they'll weigh much either.
Protection wasn't a consideration, was it?  ;)

You joke but that might actually be worth trying, I don't face 80mph bowling so it's never going to hurt THAT much is it? Or is it?
