That reminds me. Hunts county reflex.
« on: October 07, 2010, 05:38:49 PM »

Having spent most of the year toying with the idea of getting a MH Distinction, and having started going through my old gear, something has dawned on me. The distinction has a very similar profile to the Reflex. Massive middle, non existent toe, interesting. Yes they have reworked the toe a bit but the similarity is so obvious now I think about it.

Fattus, as I remember it, Reflex was similar, but had a smoother transition from shoulders to power hump, with similarly little toe.

Your right, it did. This is actually a Charlie French Odyssey - but it's the closest thing to a Jumbo I can find at the moment. It's also nicely balanced and has my favourite oval handle.

If you're after an SS Jumbo, look for my link in Blast from the past.

Fattus, as I remember it, Reflex was similar, but had a smoother transition from shoulders to power hump, with similarly little toe.

The original reflex, from the 80s, had an unusual profile becuase there was a blind hole drilled into the bat form the splice downwards
