Your best kit buy?
« on: October 08, 2010, 04:19:43 PM »

What was the best thing you've bought as far as your kit goes?

OR

What was the most important piece of kit to you that you've bought (except the box ;) )?

Mine would be my Adidas spikes, very very comfortable and good value. Being on your feet for 14 odd hours a weekend I think good spikes are important.

Torn between my ayrtek elite acis helmet and my sachin talisman helmet feels better and more comfortable than anything I've used but the bat has the best pick up to weight/size ratio I have ever felt and the middle is to die for hmmmmmm

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Either my Asics Gel Advance IIs which I got for a very good price, My Newbery GT thigh pad or GN PP duffle. Each are the best pieces of gear for that particular product I have used thus far.

Guh! Masuri, my County bat, my Bradbury Pads and Gloves... Not so keen on my spikes, but I dunno! My Masuri Ti most likely, just for economy purposes, cost me £45 altogether! But my bat was a steal at £80 off RRP...
