Playing cricket for another club abroad...
« on: October 09, 2010, 11:24:52 AM »

Have been offered to play cricket in OZ by a team over there... Was just wondering if anyone else has done this and what sort of playing deal did you get? And to any of the smaller companies on here, would you be willing to do a sponsorship deal while i was over there to expand your brand into a different country? Thanks

Well I am doing this in new year. Doubt you'll get a great offer if any simply because its not as if you'll be launching it to the whole country. BUt if you get any luck let me know ;)

My mate has just flown out to perth. he gets a club masuri helmet, run bonus for runs, contribution towards his rent and they paid the bulk of his flights too. i think like most overseas they expect you to help with coaching etc on top of that, although that may vary.

Agree with Peplow, unless you make it onto the ashes squad i cant see the exposure being great, although there is no harm in asking
