Right had a few dramas with my new hobby and this is causing me...
what the best way of shaping the toe tools wise i have used a block plane and my little blunt spokeshave

drawknife is what u need mate will take off the wood and shape it nicely into what u want....think ur 1st effort is suffering from starvation of wood on the spine
