Pakistani softs
« on: October 20, 2010, 01:56:40 PM »

Has anyone used the 2010 (possibly 2011?) Ihsan Inferno 950 or AS V10/V3 softs? What do you make of them in terms of comfort? I am currently using Newbery GT355 pads and Itias exo gloves and would like to change them for the new season.

reboy, I have used or tried all Pakistani brand softs. Out of all the top three in my opinion would be (not in any order):

- Boom Boom/ Ihsan
- MB Malik
- CA

I have bought 2010 AS V3 gloves and they were ok but not that great, however, the newer ones (2011) seem to be improved ones.

I use Ihsan Inferno 950 gloves and they are really good. They are very comfortable, soft, flexible etc.

Let me know if you have any question. I am not sure what information you are looking for but ask me anything regarding Pakistani softs and I'll answer it.

Thanks Cover_drive.
Do the Inferno 950 gloves come with pittard palms or something very similar? To be fair the Itias gloves are the best I have used, besides my brother's Redbacks.

No worries, ask me anything you wish to.

Actually it is Pakistani/Indian Pittard Palm which is a fake Pittard Palm. So yes it has similar palm to genuine Pittards.

Yup, I have heard Redback gloves are great! By the way, which one do you have though?

Recently I did a review on my MB Malik Bubber Sher gloves, here is the review if you are interested in it;

My brother has 2010 Redback Premier gloves. The Itias gloves are very good but the Redback's are in another league. Not cheap though!
MB bubber shear gloves are very nice, my friend has them. However, I find them a tad bulky, are the 950's less bulky if you understand what I mean?

I have tried the Itias Gloves, And found they were very tight in regards to the flexibility in the glove, The new Redback gloves are probably going to be my next purchase, as they seem very nice indeed

I have used Bas gloves and I am fully converted, they are brilliant, and I don't find too much of a difference between the fake pittards leather used in them compared to normal. Definately something to consider

I really like Redback's 2010 gloves. They have grown on me and I love them!

Uhmm actually you are right that Bubber Sher gloves are slightly bulky. Yes, Inferno 950's are less bulky compare to Bubber Sher's. Plus 950's are quite light in terms of weight.

I appreciate your input. Have you used the new AS V10 gloves? Shark tooth design, look very good.

No worries pal!

No I have not used the AS V10 gloves. However, I am familar with AS V10 pads (which are very similar to Boom Boom's). I must say pads are top notch whereas AS is first Pakistani brand to have knee bolster in there pads. Ihsan, Boom Boom, CA, AM, MB etc don't have knee bolster in there top of the range pads.
