Level 1 Cricket Coaching course
« on: October 21, 2010, 09:15:24 AM »

Hi All,

Could anyone tell me where I could do a Level 1 Coaching Course somewhere in London.
I understand that it is only a day course.Any ideas on the cost would be appreciated and suggestions where I could do it would be great.

Cheers, P

When I did mine a year or two back it took place over 3 or 4 Saturdays, with a couple of midweek evenings, covering First Aid, and Safeguarding and Protecting Children.  I believe it costs around £200 with the Level 2 being £250.

Cheers, I thought that it could be done in a day, full on apparently so perhaps Im wrong.
Basically the Spanish Cricket Association will sponsor me on a course but this will take too long...next year... so im looking to pay and get it done myself.

Mine was £200 in Taunton, but my club paid £170 of it.... It was over 2 weekends.

1st  Saturday- Learning Coaching Skills, Techniques, Drills etc.
1st Sunday- Same as above with a mock assesment at the end
2nd Saturday- Assesment Day
2nd Sunday- First Aid in the morning, Child Protection in the afternoon

Hope that helps
