This is intersting - pass by the photograph of the idiot who can't hold a bat, let alone play a cricket shot (why would you put that on a cricket bat website?)

Tim used to work at Romida in Leatherhead - I have met him loads of times, he is a nice bloke - although I asked him to take some weight off a bat ones and it was totally butchered.

He knows a lot about cricket and bats, he didn't make them when he was at either Romida or Fordham that I am aware of, but seems to have had some help setting up this business in this case. It isn't unreasonable to say that if I needed a new bat handle or a small repair/knocking in I might use him. It is unlikely I would buy a custom made bat off him, regardless that the branding is poor.
It seems odd that they have set up in Sussex - there is less competition for that kind of thing in Surrey and the set up costs can't have been more - unless he lives there and it was easier...

I always used to deal with Tim at Romida, was a really nice bloke and very knowledgable, was surprised that he wasnt at romisa nymore when i phoned up mid season, at least this has answered my questions to his where abouts.... he always picked me out a cracking bat, cant remember a bad one i had from him
