Well I didnt score a 50 in junior cricket until last years under 17's where I scored 50*,74*, and a 49. Although I scored a 59* the year before in senior cricket. Then scored about 4 fifties this year in senior cricket along with a 66 on the last day of the season.

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

I was fortunate to play junior cricket since 12, I have managed to hit a few 50's but only managed the ton three times, Once as a junior and twice in adult cricket, But no 100 in two seasons, Top score last year was 93*, I ran out of overs,

are we just talking senior cricket?

you must have had 50's at under 13's? under 15's? under 17's?

no?

Never got a 50 in youth cricket. My high score was 12.

I bat low. having enough "batsmen" left to score runs can be quite a challenge. I'm usually the last man standing!
