Looking to buy a new bat for the 2011 season and quite like the look of the Adidas Pellara. Anyone got one, if so please tell me what it's like and if you have any pics please post them. Thanks, Craig.

Interesting ask - what sort of budget are you looking at throwing at this... a top of the rage Adidas is £250+ which buys you a serious amount of bat on this forum.

They are bringing out a new version for the ashes for KP to use. Think its only cosmetic, but you might find the 2010 version on sale once they do. Should save you a few quid

I've used a friends Pellara Elite and it is a good bat. What you'd expect for that amount of money but it is up there with the main brands for quality.

Agreed with Buzz! You can get two very good quality sticks in that price range.

I've heard the pellara is the best of the bunch, but then again, why not get 2 bats for that price? Up to you I guess...

you can get a belter of a bat on here for that sort of money!!! , i got a brand new top end willowstix bat for £80, rrp £205 (roughly) , if you just lurk around the for sale section for a while im sure youl find something amazing , but i cant see an addidas coming up any time soon , its not really the sort of thing people on here tend to have (i dont think anyway)

Craig, have you considered Dropping Mike (Talisman) a PM? He has great Blade 950s for £175, which he hand-picked...that's a bargain really for that price..otherwise keep a lookout. Before I came on here I was set on an incurza, now I've got an saf, which seems twice as good...

If you want a cheap Pellara keep your eyes open on ebay, with companies trying to clear last year's model.

WEll, if he wants one, he wants one. Adidas are nowhere near as good as puma in terms of sports companies who have decided to turn to cricket...
