I bought some kit off them. The bat was very well balanced and impreesive off the mallet. I have yet not knocked it and not tried it in the nets. He said he does three profiles.

Tour De Force- Light, Low middle similar in profile to a bat made for Yuvraj while he was at Newbery
Curve - Higher Middle for pitches that bounce a little more (pictured above)
A third one which was heavier, low middle similar to Tendulkar's profile.

Just spoke to John after he got my email, said he will pop some prices over to me shortly so if they are not up here by then I'll stick them up. Said he has just signed up 6 pros as well, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Is making his own bats in a workshop he has. Nice chap.

Prices were very reasonable for the bat. Last year I think it was 150 but I am not sure of the price this year. In addition I bought a pair of pads and gloves. I think gloves + pads was around 100 but not sure.

A knocked in bat was 170.

The minimalist/silver gear looks great! Bat has a lovely profile too.

Pads were Newbery quality. Gloves were a little bulky for me and I have not tried Newbery gloves so can't be sure. The gloves did have pittard palms. I would buy the pads and the bat again but the gloves I am not sure. I like sausage style gloves so I could be a bit biased. Quality was top on everything.
