Which guy is that? Warner? I know he was given an ODI team place, but, i think he;s going to have to do well in 4 day cricket like the domestic Aus cricket to get a chance in the test side

That sounds about right.

I also like this quote:

"All cricket's research shows the major proportion of people who watch the game are males over 45."

Really? Is that true? I know that women don't but I also know a very large number of males very much under 45 who watch the game!

Great read it was, will be looking forward to his book!

So it is somewhat confirmed that Pointing uses Indian made bats. I mean he would be one of the few who are soo bat fanatic lol.

Seems like Hayden only cares about the feel of the bat whereas player like Pointing care about everything from toe to handle. I had never seen anyone's obsession with bat more than Punter's.

Hats off to him!

I'm sure he doesnt just use Indian made bats. Much like Tendulkar, he probably gets bats chucked at him from all sorts of companies just so they can be associated witg him...

To be honest with the prospect of the IPL now being 7 teams it must be under serious pressure to unravel. How many more corruption charges are likely to be brought with the BCCI and other internal investigations yet to finish?
Would be the best news ever if the IPL closes down.

While I agree - I think it is really unlikely, there was so much money involved people will be looking for a return on their investments.
