Depending on the thickness of the handle i go with either 2 or 3 grips, not concerned about the bottom 2 but the top grip i prefer gm shock absorba but they are difficult to get up here.

I go for a plain grip at the bottom and a spiral grip on top. Good grip and feel in my eyes :)

I have a chevron on the bottom, half an octopus on top, then a snake on top of that, feels perfect

I always use pupa grips. Love the cushioned bit in the middle. Good colours to.

Chevron on the bottom with a matrix, octopus or snake on top.

I'm used to a thick girth so it feel's natural ;) :p

like the octopus and matrix grips. I find the spiral a bit slippy, ditto the chevron. Not tried a shock absorba or snake.

Only 1 grip due to my small hands, as I like a thin handle to get my hands round. Some of the very thin asian handles I'll have a plain grip underneath and octopus and matrix over the top.

How do you use grips to turn an a round handle into an oval handle?

I've got a Puma grip on my bat atm and it's ok, not the best though

Nick, best thing to do is put layers of tape on the front and back of the handle but I suppose you can cut a grip up to do the same sort of job. If you use the tape then build up layers until you get the shape you want.

yep I was thinking of putting 2 or 3 gradually narrower and shorter layers of grip on top of each other, both sides of the first grip and then adding the second grip over the top.

They are good, i suppose it depends on which hand if either you like thicker, top or bottom. They are good grips!
