That commentater catching bit was funny. Nass and Athers were quite good though the best bits were the catches when they fell.

Dobbs, I'll think you'll find that the bats are Kashmir based...

The back is Kashmir, as it's not the wood which generates the power it's the foam. There's little point in doing it from EW, as it firstly is in short supply and secondly makes no difference to the performance.
I have an early prototype of the Skyer which is from English Willow, doesn't go anywhere near as far as the newer ones.

I know that Tom, being that you have seen the new version could you tell me if the handle is better, that is my only conclusion on how I would improve it. Mine had too small a handle, poorly bound and the grip was awful. I had it bound again and fitted an English grip and it is perfect. I would think that a better made handle which was stiffer would generate more power and allow more control.

Agree Mike. Practice is just what you need with the skyer, its just a nack to get maximum power. Even if your not strong or don't have the nack its still pretty easy to get a decent height and accuracy.

Does anybody know if Skyers are going to be produced in different colours such as the black for the stanford and stuff? and are these going to be available to the public?

ok I have gone over the top in my arguement without a doubt. Fusion have increased there business to a point that they have needed to raise the price. THey are a business and their primary goal is to make as much money as possible. I just wish they had made the old one 90 quid and kept it for the individuals.
Sorry fusion
