The formula for success in 2010 was a combination of talented youngsters and experienced players showcasing their skills.
This exciting opportunity provides players with the chance to compete against many of the best players in the country and follow the success gained by the likes of Wes Durston (Derbyshire), Ed Young (Gloucestershire) and Rory Burns (Surrey) in obtaining first-class county contracts.
The selection process includes trial days on:
December 18 and 19 at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire
January 8 at Derby CCC
January 29 and 30 at Whitgift School, Croydon, Surrey
Paul Bedford, head of non first-class cricket, said: "Being chosen to play in the Unicorns side is the pinnacle of non first-class cricket and we are delighted that Phil Oliver and Gordon Child will continue to run the side.
"The results gained in the summer both in terms of performances and contracts signed demonstrate that the team has a valuable role to play."
