Best Budget Bat under £100- Opinions Please
« on: November 13, 2010, 11:53:33 AM »

The likes of Wisden have just one category for bats but if you look all the bats are £200+ and out of the common mans reach. Anyone got any views on the best sub £100 bat? Talking new price.

I'd get in touch with Bulldog about what they have. Picked up a brand new G1 unstickeref from him for £50.

You can get a handmade in England bat from H4l for 150 quid, but in this case eBay might be your friend.

Just to clarify - no refrubs or deals on this forum or ebay, etc.

ie. if I went to a shop/or online store what is the best bat I could buy. Sort of like a Wisden bat test for sub £100 bats.

Hit4six's Kook Blade that he has just reviewed was bought from a shop for £70. Sounds like a good bat.

Interesting no-one has mentioned GN, GM, Slazenger yet. Is that a reflection of their lower priced offerings?

Maybe GMs and Slaz's offerings. I'd recommend a GN 4 Star (any model)- they seem to go a fair way!

You can pick up bargain Slazengers from Sportsdirect, personally I would go GM though. Any model above 606 would be very nice.
